Important Things To Consider 4/29/14:

Well, there's been a new twist added and I'm not quite sure what to do about it.

I've learned that I can never, ever assume to have things "figured out", especially when it comes to things between Shelly and I and our relationship.  However, for the purposes of this discussion, I will have to assume that at some point in the near future we will be "getting back together".  The twist is that "getting back together" would mean living somewhere in the DFW area.  And that means putting Todd in yet another new school.  And it won't be a small school, and it won't be Cayuga.

Here are some ideas that could keep him in Cayuga and how to go about it.  No guarantees of success, obviously:

• We would need an affordable place to live
• It would need to be an area where we can get at least the 10/1 speeds we get now
• As far as things go, Shelly would need to be able to work from home
• I would need a job
• We would need a vehicle
• Todd would need to agree to/be given the background/support/etc to do better in school - not just "show up" and come home and get on the gaming computer.

How do I make this happen?  I'm not sure it can be done - but I've got to try.

Addendum:  Tuesday, April 29, 2014:

• I need to follow up with Obamacare/Texas Health and Human serices/whatever regarding our Obamacare/Medicaid/whatever.  This will probably involve a phone call, so be prepared.
• I need to follow through on sources for jobs.  This includes friends/family/whomever -(Tommy/Scooter/Robert and their associated resources)
• Need to find out from Shelly if she is willing to go to BK appointment on one of her days off (Wednesday).  If so, get a commitment for an exact time and talk to BK people to see what info she needs and provide her with that info to the best of my ability.  She might not like it, but the sooner we get this done, the better.  And it might be 2-4 weeks if not longer before I can come up there.  This relates to a lot of things.  Us/Shelly getting a car sooner and at a better price/places to live/insurance/and job(s).
• Sooner or later, I need to discuss with her Todd and school and how much it would mean to him to go down here and its various ramifications.
• I need to get a detailed list of things Mom wants done around the house - both for things she wants and needs done while living here and things that need to be done to help get the place sold, when the time comes.
