Even though the conversation was brief, I still...detected a bit of smugness? Finality? Non-plussness? IDK. Whatever. It had been 2 weeks and 5 days since I had talked to her at all. I'm not quite sure but I think the last time that happened was November 2013 after I had talked to Jerry and found out about Cali being around/etc. Something like that. Anyway.
