...knock on wood/pray/think positive thoughts (I should probably be doing these anyway!), but in admist all of the negativity, crying, depression/etc...perhaps a little good news. And it was after somewhat of a letdown.
I finally came to grips with the fact that things needed to get done. Unfortunately, this would mean getting the ring "appraised" for "some kind of fee" 20-100-150? Then I saw where someone in a forum suggested one of those gold and jewelry buyers, who wouldn't charge (or really do an appraisal). Well, the bad news was that Shelly needs the Tracker tomorrow because she'll be going "offsite" for something. Which means me in the uninspected truck. No way can I go running around in that.
OK. Well, perhaps not tomorrow, but it can be done. If only I knew for sure how much an appraisal was going to be (gonna check deeper tomorrow) I could factor that into a gold and jewelry buyer's offer, which I would assume to be less than selling it outright. Plus the fact that it would be happening then, instead of taking a chance on CL and sitting here dying for the money and getting these phantom buyers... Thank you, Lord! :o)
