I Can Already Tell

This is going to be a battle.  I don't like where we are going financially - and that's without making the house payment again.  Todd's birthday.  Mother's day.  I've got to put it together (amongst all this other stuff) and start making needed changes financially/money management/budget.  I don't know exactly what to do, and this is NOT the time to "not know what to do".

However, these are the things I CAN do:

  • Truck - get the battery put in and replace brake light.  Obviously, it's not going to get driven much (if at all) due to being "daylight" hours.  I'll just have to hope that over the weekend I can put on the necessary miles/drive cycles and get it inspected/tagged on Monday.  Tracker - I'm not quite sure what to do.  It would be great to get the Truck done and move the Tracker into "secondary" vehicle status - might be able to get away with not having to get things fixed enough for an inspection (200 bucks including inspection?) while seeing what happens on other fronts.
  • House - must get stuff uploaded to Naca.com.  Gonna have to get past my "already defeated" mindset and get it done so we can get talking with someone and see if/how we can get Mom's $$ included.  The sooner we get that done and see what we are up against - the sooner we can possibly move on to other options.  By delaying stuff because of what I perceive mentally as "problems", I just keep on dealing with the same stuff over and over again.  Chapter 13 - seems like it could be an option - but costs (filing/etc) and "income" remains an issue.
  • JPS Connect - same thing, almost.  Although a lot less, really.  Mentally I'm seeing them come up with issues about $$ like tax refund and Mom's check.  Just gotta do it and deal with it the best we can.  This is the same kind of "defeatest" mentality that always kept me from applying for jobs.
  • Red Rock Financial - not looking forward to it, but must contact that lady
